Air Magic Vee-Rabbit Antenna

If you are a technical type then this is a 5/8 wave base-loaded dipole with 2.6dB gain relative to a standard ¼ wave whip
antenna.

If you are non-technical then this antenna will transform your radio performance.  It doesn’t need a ground-plane (a flat
piece of metal for the radio waves to bounce off) so it can be mounted up on the king-post of your trike.

One of our customers recently established 2-way communications over a distance of 470km using a Vertex VXA-220
hand-held radio, Air Magic headset and a Vee-Rabbit antenna.

Designed for use in wilderness areas where long-range communications are a vital aid to safety.

Comes with king-post mounting hardware (two versions - one for a standard round king-post and one for the GT-450
aerofoil king post) and antenna lead.  Surface mount for fixed-wing aircraft available on request.

The length of each antenna whip is 550mm.
